Johnston Community College has awarded associate degrees, certificates, and diplomas since 1969 to students pursuing college transfer, occupational, technical, and continuing education opportunities. The college saw its highest-ever enrollment in the fall of 2023. UNC Health Johnston was founded in 1951 as Johnston Memorial Hospital, and has deep roots in the community.
