The oil barely drools out of the rocker hole. I have read about the poor quality control in ford 351w oil passages. Would putting a small notch in my lifter like I have read about elsewhere help get more oil to the top?
Motor has a standard volume melling pump and runs just over 50# of pressure cold at idle and around 45# hot. $200 - 83 notch $90- 87 up quarter windows $5- headliner $5- roof brace ( for some reason it was missing from donor car) -$105 - scrap price for everything left of the car that im not using or selling =$195 -$20 -door trim from donor car +$60- complete latemodel restoration weatherstrip/window wipe kit from The notch means it would normally be oriented towards the front of the block.
